Equitable Giving Circle Fights to Support Food Insecurity in the Portland BIPOC Community
This November, the Floret Coalition is supporting Equitable Giving Circle. Equitable Giving Circle is a community of people committed to creating peer-led, community-funded, transformational change. Their work aims to build immediate and increased equity throughout Portland’s BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities through a combination of fund development and network building opportunities that center economic equity. Currently EGCs main initiative is feeding BIPOC community members with fresh weekly CSA boxes purchased from local BIPOC Farmers.
