Brave Space Alliance: South Side Chicago’s first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ+ Center

This February, the Floret Coalition is supporting Brave Space Alliance. Brave Space Alliance is dedicated to creating and providing affirming, culturally competent, for-us by-us resources, programming, and services for LGBTQ+ individuals on the South and West sides of the city of Chicago.

Donations support mutual aid addressing food insecurity, housing insecurity, and economic justice, such as a food pantry, employment network, training for workplaces, organizing against oppression, the Trans Relief/Funeral Fund, and providing gender-affirming products to Black and Brown trans people through The Makeup Room and The Den.
